"Bravo" cruise on the Silhouette May 2018

Hi everyone, I have come back to the forum after a long break. We had booked ourselves onto the Baltic cruise from Southampton on the Silhouette from 26th May 2016 and then we noticed from an advert in the paper, that the Silhouette had been chartered by (what we think is) an Australian company for a musical cruise for the week before, with Katherine Jenkins and Alfie Boe among other stars. It is called "Bravo". So we booked ourselves onto that as well. We are very excited about it, Mr Norman is a great fan of those stars. The cruise is not advertised on the Celebrity website and we had to book via a travel agent. Has anyone else noticed this cruise? :)

That would be very nice, Mr Charleson. The travel agent was on the phone today. She wanted to know at what time we would prefer to dine. They have got to organise tickets for these shows as they are going to be very popular - I was wondering how they were going to arrange for everyone to have a fair chance. Mr Norman does love to join a choir - so I am sure he will be doing that during the week!

Thank you, Easyboy and Turtles06. I was investigating the Dutch/Australian star Mirusia yesterday evening on the net as I hadn't heard of her before although she seems to be quite famous elsewhere. And she has some great videos on the internet, some with Andre Rieu, singing opera, musical theatre and some other songs. She has a really beautiful voice and has a great stage presence. I am so looking forward to seeing her performing on the Silhouette next year, it should be a wonderful week! :)

Hello HHB. I don't know whether you have a particular theme in mind, just want to see what is available or want to charter a ship yourself! I think if I wanted to find out what is available I would contact one of the specialist cruise companies who would come up on the internet if you did a search for the Bravo cruise on the Silhouette.

I am a bit surprised that Celebrity themselves do not appear to be advertising the Bravo cruise on their website or selling it. It would be in their interest surely for it to do well.

Ooh yes they are well known names and popular for many people. The cruise people should take note. I am sure everyone would have an idea of who they would love to see on a cruise - maybe I should start a thread asking people who they would like to see, and also what type of theme they would like! I would love an arts and crafts cruise, but I don't think it would be everyone's cup of tea, probably not Mr Norman's. He is certainly loving the line-up of celebrities on this cruise on the Silhouette. :)
