Hi, we are going to Cozumel on the Carnival Victory

next week and we are planning to go to the Money Bar

is better to pay with pesos or US dollars?

Dollars are accepted everywhere in Cozumel, no problems. You may receive small bill or coin change in pesos back, but they are a nice collectables. I carry a 5 peso note in my wallet with me for luck...got it about 6 years ago. It guarantees me return to Mexico every year. LOL

Yep. It's been 14 years since I've cruised. Great site here. Wish it was around back in the day

Been to Money Bar twice in the last 2 weeks. Think the exchange rate they are using is 16 to 1. Meaning always better to pay in pesos. 5 to 7 happy hour 2 for 1 drinks. Bring an insulated cup. Drinks are served in plastic cups and ice melts fast. You can snorkel there also.
