Has anyone seen the Russian Folklore show? Was it good and worthwhile or something cheezy and thrown together for tourists?

On our RCI ship a group came on to dance on our first night in port...not sure I would need/want an excursion to see this type of entertainment...lots more interesting things to see and do...but that's my personal opinion.

IMHO it's all of those things.

 

Yes, definitely for tourists.

And mebbe cheesy in parts - lots of humour, both subtle & side-splitting, and including some audience participation.

 

But very well put together, very varied repertoire, good singing, music& dance and very well-performed.

Good value and great fun.

 

The ballet it ain't, and it won't appeal to highbrows.

But we loved it.

Which kinda shows our level ;p
