A copy of the death certificate showing why the father didn't sign anything. There is a Poster that has been traveling with her kids since they were babies. Many times she has run into the issue of proving that dad was dead so no signature required.

 

My son in law died in 2002. I will have to see if my daughter still has one

kdowneymd, Thank you. It means a lot. We have been with the kids since their dad passed. They moved from Kentucky to Cincinnati to be near us. We are very much looking forward to having a wonderful cruise to Alaska. I plan on being at the port by 11am; so I can be well prepared for any issues. I don't expect any but at least being early allows us to be prepared. If all goes smoothly then we board a little early

Be sure you have Tylenol! In addition to all of that paperwork, a little Tylenol is a wonderful thing some times! I wish you all a wonderful cruise! How exciting to share this with them
