Anyone done the post cruise Kennedy Space Center Tour?

We're cruising on Oasis in October and Royal Caribbean offers a tour of Kennedy Space Center before transporting you to the airport for your flight home. I'm looking for anyone who's done this to see how it was.

Didn't do it with cruise line but did on day of cruise. The space centre is awesome!

We did it a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. About half the time you are on a bus on a guided tour and the other half you are free to explore the visitor's center.

Thanks Bob. Exactly the info we wanted to hear. We figure this kills 2 birds with one stone; transportation to the airport while seeing the space center.

While the Space Center is great, it really takes a whole day plus to see and do everything, especially with kids (they have alot of interactive things the kids will want to do). The bus ride to the Apollo Center alone is about a 2 hour deal. Unless you have a very late flight, you will not get to see the entire center.

 

How long of a time does your tour say it will be at the Center?

The Post cruise tour is typically 6 hours and is normally operated by Sunward Tours who can answer specific questions since the cruise lines do not offer much in terms of info!

I'm looking into that as well. My cruise is further out and on NCL Epic... anyone done it through NCL and can tell me their experience and if they got to airport? I haven't booked my flight but as I'm using miles, a later flight in evening is usually less expensive...
