casino question

Here is my question. If I buy $500 worth of casino credit can I withdraw it out like $100 at a time to take on the islands (like the night before since the casino is closed when we get to the islands)? We used to just add money to our princess account but now they wont let you take money out and they mail you a check after you get back if you have money left on your account. Thanks for your reply

You're not supposed to treat the casino as an ATM.

You'll still need to risk a little of your $$ before you pull some out.

It would be easier to just bring the cash you need with you.

It has been a year or more since I did what you are asking about so rules may have changed. If the rules are the same, you can buy casino credit prior to the cruise and you will find a voucher for the credit in your cabin on embarkation day. Take the voucher to the casino cashier and ask for the cash. I have done that on two cruises in the past. The first time I was given the cash immediately. The second time, the cashier said she had to wait for her supervisor before she could give me the cash.

No more vouchers. Instead a similar voucher delivered to your room is a confirmation that credits have been applied to your room account. The vouchers used to be a way to exceed the $3,000/day $21,000/cruise limit, but no more.
