Doxitude Posted June 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Hello! We are stopping in San Francisco during a Pacific Coastal on the Explorer of the Seas in mid-September. The ship arrives at 8:00am, and we will not have made an international stop at this point in the cruise. I'm considering a Muir Woods tour that begins at 9:30am. I've read fog is sometimes an issue in the morning. Is 1.5 hours enough time to arrive, get off and make it over the ferry building in time for the tour? Thanks! CruiserBruce Posted June 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2017 You should be fine. Yes, fog can be a problem, but September is a very low fog month. And I don't think it would delay you that much anyway.

Are you on the Explorer cruise Sept 15-22nd? IF so, we have a group going to Muir Woods then up to Sonoma for the day. If your interested.

junior3006 Posted July 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2017 You should be fine, it's only a 15 minute walk to ferry at most. Sent from my iPad using Forums
