Rare foodsvcmgr Posted July 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Looking to book a transatlantic in Britannia Club grade. Are the newly added cabins on Deck 13 in any way preferable to the originals on Deck 12 or vice versa? Thanks for any information.
BlueRiband Posted July 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Deck 13 is categorized A2 and all are forward. The only elevator access is through the A stairway and elevators. Deck 12 midship are categorized A1, and can be reached by from A or B elevators. Deck 13 is bound to be pretty quiet since few have any reason to go up there. The "deck 14" observation area will also likely be closed off most of the time due to high winds, so overhead footsteps won't be an issue.
david,Mississauga Posted July 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I travelled in a Deck 13 Britannia Club in October. What I particularly liked about it was the balcony door which is the sliding type. We also liked the glass door for the shower instead of the usual curtain. Even if the walkway above is open, which it was most of the time on our voyage, it has a very thick rubber floor so we never heard any footsteps.
