hannibal54 Posted July 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2017 I saw a TV show on PBS titled Weekend in Havana. It shows a different side of Havana that we didn't see while we were there. There were many places that I did recognize. I know that there or other showings, check your PBS guide for this one hour show.
EatonDoolittle Posted July 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2017 Yes, it was a wonderful show. Especially loved seeing how they are training young people to work on the restoration. That could offer a lifelong career for them, with so much to be restored. If anybody misses it on TV, you can watch it on PBS.org. There are also some additional stories and videos there from the host about his visit that were not included in the TV show.
VidaNaPraia Posted July 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2017 You're talking about the show in which the architect showed the restorations in Havana Vieja? And the musician and dancer gave insight into their artistic and religious lives? http://interactive.wttw.com/weekend-in-havana
