supatraveler Posted July 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Hi, We are sailing on the Encore in December in the South Pacific, and when I logged in to look at excursions for the different ports, most of them show no excursions.:confused: The following ports show no excursions: Dravuni Island Lautoka Suva Tadine Kuto Inyeug Islet Kingston Russell Bay What does this mean for these ports? Does this mean that you just walk around these areas, or what are the options exactly? Any idea how I can find potential excursions in these areas that I could book privately, since Seabourn doesn't seem to offer any? Thanks!! MWillow Posted July 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2017 You could call Seabourn and ask to be connected to their excursions team for details. Your preliminary documents with excursion info will be mailed to you about 100 days prior to sailing.
Chairsin Posted July 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2017 You can Google each place and you can go to TripAdvisor and look under activities. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Tony & Trevor Posted July 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2017 We have visited three of these islands and there were a number of tours available. In Vanuatu we did our own full day tour. Very beautiful islands. As suggested them up. Kind regards, Tony

supatraveler Posted July 30, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Thank you all for the feedback! I will start researching the ports myself and wait for Seabourn to post/send more info, but my look into private excursions as we've done in the past. Tony & Trevor-- Who did you do your full day tour through? Do you recommend a specific guide or vendor? Thanks!
Thecat123 Posted July 31, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2017 We have flown into Norfolk Island half a dozen or so times Kingston Wharf and Cascades Wharf, are opposite sides of the Island, which are both used cause of weather conditions for unloading freight and passengers and are both a long way from the town, 10 or 15 minutes by car. I would not like to walk it so I would be looking at a tour We were there in May this year and they were having trouble unloading the freight from a ship due to the ocean waves so going ashore on your cruise could be hit and miss We are also looking at this cruise as a maybe. Tony & Trevor Posted July 31, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Supatraveler, Google -Adventures in Paradise-Vanuatu. Had a really full day tour with lunch. Met us by the dock and very much cheaper than the ships tours. Kind regards Tony
