crash course needed on regal and october canadian cruise please.

We did the 7 day last October on the Regal. Embarkation took forever for the 3000+ passengers. We arrived around 1100 and were on board by 1300. Had planned to do lunch in the MDR but too late.

Was that the first cruise in the US after the TA? That might be the reason for the delayed boarding.

It wasn't the first cruise after the TA. Actual boarding (Elite) didn't really start until after 12, so by the time it got to us "regular people" it was 1300 and we were there fairly early. The lines moved VERY slowly and didn't seem to have enough employees to check everyone in efficiently. But, our moods certainly changed once we stepped on board into that beautiful Piazza! :cool:
