Comments on a Carnival Cruise from A Princess Perspective

In my opinion, nothing compares to Carnival's chocolate melting cake.

 

Agree. And it is on the menu every night of the cruise.

 

The one on Princess is also excellent, but it is only offered in the extra cost steak house.

Amendment:

 

Something I completely forgot to mention, no idea how..

 

Embarkation lunch - wow do they do that better. First, more venues are open. Second, they had dedicated elevators just working to move people to the decks where lunch was available. Third, clear signs showing ALL lunch options including the MDRs, etc.

 

4th, and I thought this was brilliant as well, they set up two additional embarkation day only venues to help with the load. In one area they had a BBQ offering with pulled pork, etc and a light lunch offering as well. One was set up at the Taste bar the other just on temporary tables.

 

The buffet was still crowded but nowhere NEAR the zoo I have seen on other lines with larger facilities.
