happy cruzer Posted October 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2017 Hi, Haven't seen many mentions of the Habana Lounge. I did see in some Fun Times that there is Latin music in there. Anyone hang out in there? Any special drinks to order? People dancing? Thanks in advance.
timeinthesand Posted October 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2017 It's hit and miss with people dancing, but it is a beautiful bar eith very comfy seats. Bar servuce is a little slow becuae they make them for the dining room there too.
ABQrobin Posted October 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2017 We had planned to go our last time on Freedom as there was a latin band playing there that we had seen in the lobby the day before. They were very very good and people danced the whole time in lobby so we thought it would be great in a bigger club. But oops we didn't make it. Sorry. It is a gorgeous venue though... happy cruzer Posted October 9, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks. I know some miss smoking in there. But now that it is non-smoking ( at least that is what I saw a CCL website), I think we may hang out in there when there is some music.
ew101 Posted January 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Is there any country and or ballroom music on the Freedom? Latin is also nice to dance to.

dawyv Posted January 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 20, 2018 On the 6 January sailing, the house band played some country music on deck 5 near the casino but I don't recall it anywhere else, not particularly in the Havana Bar either. It is now a non-smoking venue (though all of the decor is still set up like a cigar lounge so that is incongruous). Beyond Latin music, the only organized activity I remember in there was the 18-and-over scavenger hunt game late one night.
