When the promenade is crowded, I like to use these stairs and use Deck 4 to get where I need to go. By crowded I mean, photographers taking up too much space.

The Taste Bar. They offer small samples of food here 3-4 times a week during the evening hours.

Video Arcade.

We are on the Splendor in Dec - thanks for your review! Still will be waiting out our final itinerary for awhile, I think :/

I was under the impression they didn't have a Cherry on Top. Did they have a small candy area inside one of the other shops where you guys found your sour candy? (My DH and kids are big fans!)

Wow these are amazing. Cant wait to show my daughter tomorrow. I am so excited now!!!!! All four of us are going. Really appreciate the time you are taking to do this ...thank you:)

You're very welcome. I enjoy doing it. Hope I have gotten you ready for all that pink lol.

Enjoying the review, especially from a gambler's perspective since it's not something we do on the ship but like to go to the casinos while we're on vacation in New Jersey.

I have never gambled at a land based casino, except in Nassau. I would imagine I would get a better payout on land but I just love cruising so much. You are smart to stay out of Carnival's casino that is for sure lol.

We are on deck 7 Empress deck. Looking forward to see if you have any pics there.

We like a little flutter in the casino too. Great to see the pics.

I do. Sorta. I took a pic down the hallway like I did on the first two decks. Not much to see, but you can say hey that is the hallway I will be staying on! :D

Enjoying the excellent photos!

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying them :D

Not to start a debate between how cruise lines are handling these things, but I have a cruise on NCL the end of March. I received an updated itinerary in my email last week. Then again, there are complaints that they are making changes too far out. Guess it is a lose lose situation for the cruise lines.

They don't have a Cherry on Top exactly. They have a very small shop located just outside the casino. I believe it is called "Formalities" but it is the same product just with a different branding and a smaller store so likely a smaller variety of candies than Cherry on Top. The bags do say Cherry on Top, likely for brand familiarity without having to invest in changing the storefront singing.

They have another buffet located a little farther forward. When it is open it is usually the same thing located at the other buffet. Mongolian Wok on the right.

IMG104-L.jpg

Soft serve ice cream is located in several locations throughout lido.

Walking inside, be prepared to pass someone trying to sell you something anytime you walk through here during the day.

If you go all the way to the front of Deck 10, you will see doors and a light at the end of the tunnel.

IMG119-L.jpg

Outside them is the "secret deck". The views are are excellent and it is very quiet because not a lot of people know about it.

IMG120-L.jpg

Back inside, looking down from deck 10.

IMG121-L.jpg

Normally you could walk outside through this hall, but my path was blocked today.

IMG122-L.jpg

They were doing some deck washing out there, don't they know I had a tour to do? Sheesh.

Outside the decks above Lido are covered.

I always say I want to eat here and so far have only made it once, my first time on Splendor.

More of Deck 11.

IMG139-L.jpg

Splash Park. I have still never seen anyone in here, guess nobody can find it.
