Rare many cruises Posted January 14, 2006 #26 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Thanks for all the information on the pulmonias. Does anyone know how fast they go? Some people were saying that they can be dangerous.
Bob7 Posted January 16, 2006 #27 Share Posted January 16, 2006 Thanks for all the information on the pulmonias. Does anyone know how fast they go? Some people were saying that they can be dangerous. They go the same speed as the rest of the traffic ... maximum :-) They're no more dangerous than any small convertible. Have you seen a picture of one? ... I can post a link to our Mex Riv shots. -Bob
Nancyquilts Posted January 27, 2006 #28 Share Posted January 27, 2006 If you're not able to arrange one of Frank's tours, there are city tours available in the market area at the entrance to the pier. I seem to recall they were asking $20 each for the city tours, but if you have a large party you could probably dicker - they want to fill up the bus. It is an open-air bus. We have been to Mazatlan a number of times, and still enjoyed this tour. It goes up to a high point, sees the cliff divers, goes by the Cathedral (and we now know where clean bathrooms are - in a classy store nearby), and out to the Golden Zone. Of course, you have to go to the stores they want you to see, but there was no high pressure. Nancy
