WeRockChalkKU Posted October 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2017 We are on a back to back cruise that embarks/disembarks in Amsterdam. We have the same cabin the entire time. We are scheduled to be in Amsterdam from 6am to 5pm. How early can we leave the ship that morning? Would all aboard be at 4:30 pm? Thanks for any information. You should check with the front desk, you'll get a pass that will get you off and back on the ship, you should be able to get off by 7:00, it all depends on seeing immigration. Normally 4:30 should be ok to return, but there will be a boat drill at 4:00 or so for the new passengers, and it all depends if they want you to be there, because it's mandatory.. RuthC Posted October 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2017 My turn-around in Amsterdam earlier this year, as well as disembarkation day two weeks later, had people able to disembark about 7:30. That is when you should also be able to go off for the day. I would expect muster to be at 4:00 that afternoon. This summer I had to attend both musters. No one was exempt, no matter how recently they had been to one.
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2017 You will get a letter the full day of the cruise explaining what is expected of you on "turn-around-day". You will also get an "In Transit" card which you can show when you are ready to return to the ship. That way you just go through security and get back on the ship. No going through check-in. You will probably have to be present for lifeboat drill -- the last number of years we were not excused. The time will be listed in that letter as well as your daily program. The letter will also list the times for breakfast on disembarkation day.
