When I first saw the "Alcove" deal I though "why bother" but am now reconsidering for the sea days!

Do they get booked out/Is it necessary to get in early to book them?

During our sailing, only half of the alcoves were booked on the first two sea days (on our way "out"). However, the last two sea days (the way "back") all were booked but one. It is my opinion that only a few folks did as we did and booked in advance. The others saw the alcoves after they boarded and decided they looked like a good idea.

I'm sure popularity varies by sailing, but if you want to be sure not to miss out you could book ahead of time. If you aren't really that concerned to have one on any particular day, you could always wait until you board and choose according to your plans and availability.

Whatever you decide, enjoy your cruise!!
