JandMHooston Posted January 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2018 We are planning our biannual European cruise for June and will be taking our daughter who will be one at that time. She is a water baby, so we want a shop where she can have come fun too. Other than Disney and select Royal Caribbean ships, do any other ships allow children in swim diapers in any pools/splash pads/etc? Thank you! cb at sea Posted January 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2018 I don't believe other lines offer "splash pads"....you could bring a blow up tub for splashing on the pool dec. Empty the water into a shower or floor drain....not onto the pool deck or into the pools, tho. Also useful for bath time in cabins with only a shower! chengkp75 Posted January 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Ships that exclusively cruise in Europe do not have to meet the USPH regulations regarding the use of swim diapers in pools. The EU's ShipSan program, which is their version of the USPH VSP, does not make special mention of swim diapers as being prohibited. Therefore, it would be a good idea to contact some lines like Costa and MSC that have ships that cruise Europe all year (or at least don't have a season in the US) to see what their policies are. kasi1979 Posted January 4, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Swim diapers are prohibitted in european cruiselines, too. The cruiselines mentioned in the original Post are the ones Catering to english speaking passengers that do offer some Kind of water area for non potty trained Kids. Aida does, too in their newest shi
