Ashelleigh Posted January 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Hi - Looking for a spring break cruise. Kids are 8 and 10. We've been on Carnival and RC, never on NCL. I'm not sure what to expect with the NCL Epic - do most activities cost extra? Also, any recommendations between these 3 ships?
6rugrats Posted January 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2018 What do you mean by "activities?"
RSLeesburg Posted January 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2018 We have been on Grandeur - sister ship to Rhapsody. We loved the ship when our son was 3 and 5, but moved up to the bigger ships afterwards because we were worried that he would be bored. The kids club is tiny, and there is not a lot else to do. I think mini golf and pool, but no sports court, no flow rider, no ice skating, no water slides, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cb at sea Posted January 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Grandeur won't have the "bells and whistles" that pre-teens enjoy.
