Has anyone sailed in one of these? It sounds like a good idea, except there is no savings in booking them, plus they are at the bow.

 

Most importantly, is there a queen bed or a single bed?

I had one of the solo cabins about a year ago. At the time, I did receive a price reduction for it but have seen that the prices grew to match other cabins with the single supplement. Three of the cabins have pictures and comments

That is my issue with the single cabins. A lot of the time you can get a larger cabin in a better location for the same price or less.

Thanks for the info. It's good to know the bed is a queen because I'm never sleeping on a single again. The loss of the sofa would be a problem though.

I just did a test booking for 07 APR 2019 - 10-DAY SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN SEAFARER

. This is the last cruise currently available for booking. There is a $700 - $800 saving for booking the single cabins.

 

So perhaps if you book them early enough, you do get a discount.

I once sailed in bow (in penthouse on NCL) and did not like the ride. iit was nott desireable , iMO.
