Parking at Dublin Port

Recommended Posts

Despite being in Dublin more times than I can remember ;) this is something we are not sure of and google is not being our friend

A while off yet, we are sailing from Dublin next year on Celebrity Reflection and we are planning to drive down from Belfast, does anyone know if there are parking facilities available at the port?

Any locals know if there is anymore word on the possible terminal being built at Dun Laoghaire?

Thanks! :)

Got these by googling 'long term parking Dublin Port'.

http://www.dublinport.ie/tourism/getting-around/

go to the bottom of the page and it mentions parking.

or....

http://www.dublinport.ie/tourism/cruise-dublin/

again if you go to the end of the page it offers car parking. Unfortunately the link isn't working, but perhaps a tweet to the Port Authority would elicit a response.

Thanks for that! Couldn't find that for looking :')

€50 a week, might be better getting the bus from Belfast or a lift down the road instead :D

I don't think the locals are in favour of the terminal!

Don't hold your breath!

Dublin Port would be handier for us, so fingers crossed the Dun Laoghaire locals get their wish ;)

They've been talking about a proper cruise terminal in Belfast for years, they need to put something better in place up here.

I'm originally from Belfast so would enjoy a cruise from there. Used to enjoy taking the bike for a blast down the Sydenham bypass and then on to Bangor and the 'Dee! ;)

Would be fab if we could board from here some day! We are 'northies' - we are by the lough so we love going down and seeing the ships sail in and out. I work at the docks too so it's a bit strange to see them sailing past the office window at times LOL. Thanks for your replies :)
