No HAL to Havana in 2019?

We only have a tiny tub in our condo which we never use. So when we travel a tub is imperative to us because we don't have one in our regular lives. Yes I know all about the design trends to kill the bathtub in hotels, cruise ships and I guess now homes.

We just had a Princess cruise in a Vista Suite that had a great jetted tub, the QM 2 has excellent tubs in it's Queen Suites and the Royal Suite on the Empress of the Seas has a jetted tub. They are available when you stay in hotels if you make the effort to look, for irony's sake it seems the most bathtubs per capita are in Las Vegas hotel casinos. Both deep soaking tubs and jetted tubs.

the hotel I am staying in Europe ( and the others there in the past) made a big deal of boasting their tubs and rain showers. It's not common and seems to be appreciated by many.

I don't know if it is a trend to have no tubs and only showers. Certainly homes built for seniors may just have showers and I know some who have done it, but many still like it and it is considered a luxury in Europe.

Enjoy it :). I had booked a shower only cabin for the 1st leg of our cruise in May and DH looked at me months ago, raised his eyebrows and said "you will not be a happy camper" - call and get your tub.

So being the obedient wife I am (LOL), I did just that and I have my tub. Life is good on board :). Let those of us that like them seek them out. After all, it's all about choices and my choice is to soak in a tub and ease my elbow that can still complain ;)

We have a large tub in our master bath and a small stall shower. I soooo want to tear out the bathtub and replace it with a double sized shower ..... and turn the shower into a linen closet. We have a guest bath with a tub, so there will still be a tub available.

Why haven't we gone ahead with the remodel? I'd rather spend the money on cruising!!!
