Allure arrival / pier question - Diamond Plus but not in a Suite

Recommended Posts

Well, we are "slumming it" in a Junior Suite, so we aren't considered "Suite Guests." But, we're Diamond Plus through C&A. So here's the question - when we arrive at the cruise pier in Fort Lauderdale, is there an expedited line for Diamond Plus that we need to look for? That line could be for either dealing with luggage/porter (as we will be arriving by taxi) or for checking in. We were given an "Arrival Appointment" of 12:30pm, but we're traditionally on board by 11:30am or so on embarkation day. Anyone with recent experience at Ft Lauderdale pier for Allure, I would greatly appreciate hearing your recent experience. Also, are they truly sticklers with those new "Arrival Appointment" time?

Same question for leaving the ship - does Diamond Plus get to go in the shorter line for purposes of the cattle call leaving the ship? I know that D+ does not get the expedited line at the pier when picking up luggage (that's only Suite Guests).

Thanks in advance!
