coast2coast Posted February 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Hi! Possibly looking at an interior deck 3 stateroom on Rhapsody. Looking at the deck plans, the rooms seem to be under the entrance of the dining room. Wondering how much noise we might hear (if any) late at night/early morning with breakfast set-up. Does anyone have any experience with this area? (In particular, looking at rooms 3613, 3813, 3815, 3817, or 3617.) Thanks for any possible help, info, recommendations, etc. ***Nancy***
TPCRUISER2 Posted February 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Would not think a lot of noise during sleeping hours. May do some sweeping during the night. If I was going to pick one of those cabins, would pick 3817. Inside hall and only one cabin on the side wall.
gadaboutgal Posted February 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Cabin to avoid: 3605. Not from personal experience, but close friends on our January Rhapsody cruise had this cabin and had a horrible experience all week. Seemed like chairs and tables being slammed around/dropped every morning around 2-3 a.m. No satisfaction with requests to have the noise reduced. Firefighterhoop Posted February 26, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Do not book anything behind the aft stairs on Deck 3 on Rhapsody. You will be right below the dining room, and they are cleaning 24/7 which involves moving tables, rolling carts, etc. I made this mistake once. Based on table locations some will be noisier than others, but I personally will not do it again!
