Grenouille21 Posted February 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2018 We have two choices right now for an Alaska Cruise, based on our sleeping arrangement needs. I may decide that isn't important, but for now... it is. Would you recommend the 2nd room from the front or a midship room that is "behind" a room that is bumped out? I feel like we like the midship location better, but I feel like we will just be looking at the neighbors' room. What location is better?
cb at sea Posted February 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2018 You really won't be looking at your neighbor's cabin or balcony. The "curve" of the hump is gradual...it's not like a wall!....no worries! Midship is very convenient!
Grenouille21 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 20, 2018 I am somewhat reassured, but the photo I have seen of the ship makes it look very much like a sharp bump out. We would be in the corner right before the bumped out rooms. I feel like our view would be really limited, no?
Grenouille21 Posted February 20, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Ok, I found a thread on here warning people not to stay in the cabin in question, so I am choosing a different one! Thanks!
