Sometimes getting that refund can be months for the gift card. It's great when things go right, but terrible when they go wrong. Good luck on getting assistance if it does.

You can go to the casino cage or GS the last night of cruise, cash out your S&S card, in cash. I use GC almost exclusively to fund our S&S cards and always cash out on last night with no issues. Will be doing it again at the end of our next cruise in 7 days, why wait for them to send you the check/money?

We know about the options to cash out on board. We did not want to carry that much cash on the trip home. Understood? In the future we will make sure that won't be a concern.
