Hello,

We're booked for The Rio Chavon Special with Seavis Tours next month. It includes a Taxi ride to the River Chavon for a river boat ride to YucaYena, a riverside farm in the jungle with lunch, a canoe adventure, a fruit trail walk and a jacuzzi.

Any recommendations or experiences would be very welcome.

Thanks!

We did their speedboat tour to Sanoa Island last week. It was amazing. The staff were awesome and the tour was so fun. A highlight of our trip really. We had 4 adults and kids ranging from age 7-17 and everyone loved the day with Seavis. Someone from our facebook group connected to our sailing organized a group rate which made it even better.

We loved our Excursion with Seavis in August. We did the speedboat on a rainy day. It was bad... but fun. Be prepared for mosquitos. Bring Bug Spray if they tell you too. Also bring cash if they tell you to. My parents left their whole wallet on the ship and we clearly weren't thinking. We had enough cash for our balance of the excursion and spending $$. But we ended up having to use all our cash to pay our parents balance and barely had enough for tips. It was extremely uncomfortable until we got back to port and could use our cards again.

Remember, Amber Cove is on the northwest coast. La Romana is on the southeast coast. Couple of hundred miles between and roads aren't direct nor that friendly could take 4-5 hours to drive from one to the other.

Does Seavis do cruise ship excursions from Amber Cove?

Hi Stacey, you can email them to be sure but as far as I know they have not opened a location in AC and have just the Bayahibe office. But best to ask them directly:)
