prices rising

Timing - Breakaway doing 13 days T/A out of NYC to Southampton was available to book as low as $499 p/p on Insides 2 weeks ago + port taxes/fees/DSC, incidentals, etc. Prices since then, gone back up higher.

Apparently, land-based casinos and NCL were partnering so this April's sailing were offering vouchers thru CAS, surely didn't hurt to entice and get the "players" onboard first. Our Roll Call slowly coming to life with more last minute booking and a long sign-up roster for the Slot Pulls ...

I'll speculate the Breakaway TA will be on the late price dump at give away rates.

Guess it is a better economy. the days of budget cruising by booking at the last minutes seems to be somewhat in the past.

I disagree. I cruise at least every month. I've had no problem picking up the deals- and I'm looking for the single supplement drops. :)

Flexibility is the key and absolutely essential. Most aren't flexible enough. :) Especially those only looking for NYC sailings with only 2 ships. I'm just back from a 10 day Jade- Panama Canal , which dumped at $599, as example. I've got my eyes open for a couple coming up in April. I am open to numerous itineraries- BUT it is the only priority, I'd have to be paid to go on the 7 day Nassau/Port Canaveral run as example and would never consider it for my choice. :)

I'll ... the Breakaway TA will be on the late price dump at give away rates.
LOL ;p - here, you wish coming true ... at this moment. I don't believe for a moment, that they will sold out and sail at 105% capacity in 2+ weeks for a 13 days crossing.

Just looked now, don't you sail "Solo" ??

Solo, Inside @ $689+$190 T/F for a total of $879 at Sailaway Rate, plus DSC ... come to a grand total of $81 a day

Inside for 2 @ $459+190 times x = $1298 plus DSC, Sailaway Rate.

Plus, if you got one of those "discounted" CruiseNext certificate and/or hold NCL stocks, your net costs will be further reduced. Or, wait & see if they will lower it more ... Ka Yak your best one way airfare deal on the return, knowing that some are ex-TA and have access to interline rates.

Our TA on Epic, which sails in 10 days, has been sold out for nearly two months.

No it hasn't. It's not up now, but was 2 days ago. And, don't count it out yet. I would not be surprised for a few more cabins to pop up. Good example was the Sun in Jan- off the racks for weeks- then wham- $599 for 14 days- which I jumped on. I had no hope of this being available, although my preferred itinerary,, but yet it was.

You never know. :) Makes the "search" game fun. :)

This is a fun game for me. I don't think it's at the low and won't be surprised.

Not sure what your "ex TA" reference is? Travel Agents? Yes they may have access to cruise interline rates, but, not any airline benefits that are of any significance.
