I think you have to redeem and sail...

 

8. All CruiseNext Deposits are valid for new reservations made within 4 years from the date of purchase, and become null and void after expiration. Failure to redeem and sail within 4 years will result in forfeiture CruiseNext Deposit.

Just in case you need a certificate, I have one that in all probability I will not be using. I'm sure we can work something out if you or anyone else reading this post is interested. It's all very legit and above board, just trying to find someone who might need a certificate and may make better use of it, like I said, I do not see me using this certificate.
