MCazer Posted April 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2018 First timer on Celebrity, but will be Elite because of status on Royal Caribbean Anyway, had originally booked a standard balcony stateroom, but when prices dropped, I snagged an Aqua Class room. Does Aqua Class get all the perks of Concierge Class, and also the Aqua class perks as well? Thanks!

TeaBag Posted April 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Aqua class does not get invited to lunch in the MDR on embarkation day as Concierge does. However, AQ class gets its own dining room, Blu, which is why many of us book it. AQ also gets access to Persian Gardens.
Luvcrusn Posted April 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2018 There's also a multiple spray shower head, magnifying mirror, daily delivery of flavored teas. No concierge luncheon in MDR on embarkation day, but breakfast and dinner in Blu which is wonderful. Blu is dining when you want, no reservations taken or needed. On your first day aboard you'll find a card in your room that has a dining time for the first night. This is a suggestion only and you can dine when you want to. They only do that to try to ease first night congestion. We skipped it altogether by taking advantage of 50% off the first night in Murano for Aqua Class passengers. There's also the pillow menu. I've never seen a printed one in either concierge class or aqua class, but if you ask your steward, they'll tell you your choices. The afternoon savories are a bit weird. We usually ask that they substitute a cheese or fruit plate or shrimp cocktail. The bottle of bubbly won't be in your cabin on embarkation, but ask your steward for it when you want it. We trade it for a bottle of Prosecco or a bottle of red which we prefer.

Rare Cruise Raider Posted April 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2018 One other nice perk of Aqua Class is that the cabins each only accommodate 2 guests. This will reduce, but not eliminate, the chance that you will be situated in a cabin next to one with young children that might be noisy. I am not saying that adults can't be noisy, too ... but you will stand a better chance of having a more adults only atmosphere on the aqua class deck if you are on an S-class ship.
