New casino offers and already booked sailing...

Recommended Posts

I got an email today about the new players club offers, so naturally I checked them out. One of the people in our party has a premier offer and it happens to be available on the same sailing we already have booked this summer. We have already paid in full. Will it be a huge ordeal to change to this rate code? I believe the premier offer has more perks (premier check in, DOU, and casino cash), but I'm not 100% on all of the offerings.

Call the casino line when they open. I booked a cruise that was 49 days out on 4/30. 5/1 new offer that was 80$ cheaper and some casino cash. When I called they were able to flip it to the new rate, refund to my credit card and give me the casino cash. I am not sure if they did this because I booked such a short time ago? In any case the rep didn't blink when I asked. Good luck.

If you have a Carnival 'Personal Vacation Planner', then you most likely can change it, if you book yourself, or through a non Carnival travel agent, then most likely no. But it doesn't hurt try.

This is why you want to develop a relationship with a Carnival Personal Vacation Planner!

I agree with Supafry. Have the person who got the offer call the casino number listed in the offer. Hubby and I were booked ES on the Dream out of NOLA on Sept 30. I got a premier offer and found out that the 9/30 cruise is a premier cruise. I called and was able to change from an ES to the casino offer. It is costing me $80 per person more, but for us it is worth it. I am getting $400 in casino cash as well as all that comes with a premier cruise.

Let us know what happens!
