What type of poker is available in the casino on Celebrity?

What type of Texas Holdem does Celebrity run? Not the Three/Four Card Poker or the Ultimate Texas Holdem game that you play against the house, but the poker that is played against other players.

I haven't been on Celebrity in a long time, so I'm interested to learn what game is spread ($1-2 NL, $2-5 NL, etc.) and what the rake is. Are the games well attended? I'm considering taking the Summit this summer if that helps.

Thanks.

On my two Reflection sailings they only spread $2/$5 NL (as far as cash games). Live game with a dealer. It went fairly regularly during the first 7 night cruise (starts at 9 or 9:30 pm, no game during day). On the 11-night it didn’t go most nights but ran a few times.

Not surprisingly the rake is casino friendly $6-$7 pot if I recall correctly (I only sat once but would watch a bit if I was wondering through the casino). I also live in an area where I can play poker whenever I like, so I wasn’t intending to play much or at all on the cruises.

They do run some one table tourneys too. I can’t offer any info on those as I didn’t pay much attention to them.

No worries, thanks. I was more concerned about if they spread a game, and if there were enough players normally. I expect the rake to be very high. Sounds like it's similar to other lines in that the mid-sized ships (2000 passenger range) are hit or miss with having enough regulars each sailing to support a regular game.

Mike, this is a late reply to your original post, but it's my understanding that Celebrity only has live-dealt poker on the Reflection and the Silhouette. Does anyone here know differently? I was on the Reflection this spring (2-5NL every evening around 9), and the rake was 10% up to $15 max, which is better than the $25 max on NCL (and I think RCCL also). I'd be interested to know if any other Celebrity ships offer live-dealt poker against other players.
