Sunshade on Princess Cay

Going to Princess Cay for the first time. I know they have clam shells to rent(?) but was wondering if anyone has brought their own shade tent to use before? I have one that folds flat into an 18 inch diameter and when up is about the same size as the clams. Two low beach chairs and small cooler will fit inside. I would prefer this as it has ventilation windows on the three sides unlike the clams. Has anyone ever used one of these? Do you know if they are allowed? Don't want to bring it along only to have them tell me I can't set it up.

It looks like this:
