Considering getting it for WIFI calls to kids and FB, but need to know how it is performing post dry dock. Please share your experiences.

Faster, lower latency (delay) service that the newer ships (Oasis, Quantum, Freedom classes) have. Royal was retrofitting O3b to other ships (they did do Majesty), but seems to have stopped doing that.

While here on shore I used Google Duo with friends onboard and had a good quality video call with them. Of course there were a couple of breakups during the call, but, overall, I would call the quality good to excellent.

 

If the video call on Duo was good I would think that a wifi call would be as well.
