Explore 4/Pinnacle Grill

We're considering the Explore 4 deal on a cruise next year. I realize from previous posts that there is likely to be no choice about dining times for the included meal in the Pinnacle, but what about the seating arrangements? Do they herd all the Explore people into a defined section of large tables, or is it still possible to get a table for two or four or whatever? Thanks to anyone who can respond.

We did have a reservation waiting in our room upon arrival. We went and changed it to a time and day that worked for us. We were asked if we would like to sit with others when we went for dinner. We were paired with two older ladies that have traveled the world. It was a remarkable dinner, loved our conversation with them. They had so many stories and we truly enjoyed them. Don't rule out eating with others, absolutely loved it!

Ours have always been for two - which is the number of people in the cabin. If you want to change your reservation, hightail it to the PG or wherever they're doing dining reservations as soon as you get on board. Some nights will fill up quickly.

 

 

If you are travelling with others, grab everyone's reservation so you can have them consolidated into a single table.

Never had a problem changing the reservation if it did not suit us for a table for 2.

 

But as others have mentioned, best to do it first thing since the Pinnacle does fill up with others having the Explore 4.

 

There is usually someone in the Pinnacle to make the reservation changes.

We have always been able to get the size table we want.

Since we like to eat early, many times we have been given a table for 4 for just the 2 of us.

Thanks for the helpful replies. The Pinnacle meal is a nice bonus, since that beverage package was the main attraction.
