Stallion Posted August 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2018 twin brother is arriving in New Orleans about 4-5 hours before his appointment time. Can he check his luggage with Porters outside and then kill time in the adjacent Shopping Mall. I realize he is supposed to wait to check-in inside the terminal I've read in New Orleans there are two lines-one for drop-off and another for Parking. Correct? Gin505 Posted August 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2018 I know we did it in Tampa. Drop off the bags and made an airport run to pick up others

Purvis1231 Posted August 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2018 In June we dropped our luggage off at 9:30 in New Orleans. It was at our cabin at 2:00.
maryred Posted August 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2018 Yes, there are no time restraints on dropping the luggage off early the day of the cruise. Just remind your brother to keep a carry-on with him, backpacks are easiest. Pack it lightly but make sure all the important paperwork and valuables are in there along with any item required to be carried on like wine or soft drink cans. Another popular way to "kill" time while waiting for the arrival appointment is to visit is the Mardi Gras "museum" a little past the terminal in the opposite direction of the waterfront mall.
