We are on this cruise, leaving Sunday. We are from Maine with no flights needed. In saying that we just planned on our son picking us up and just walking off with our Luggage. We do that most of our cruises regardless of needing to fly.

Hearing what you are saying would it just be as easy to put our luggage out the night before and taking our time getting out of there? Please give me your thoughts. Dan

I was on the cruise also. I put my bags out night before and would suggest it as the best way. Really, it was just a mess because so many people all chose to opt to carry off. I was only off about 20 minutes later than my original expected departure time. So, I feel that putting your bags out the night before is optimal for disembarking.

I would tell your son to wait for you in the cell phone lot and you will call him when you get to your luggage. I would not try to roll off if you are not in a hurry because a large majority of cruisers are local and like to roll off even though they can't handle their luggage.

This link will show him where the lot is so he doesn't have to keep driving the loop at the port.

I usually do one loop around to see if I can get a nearby parking spot and then head to the cell phone lot if I can't.

Great advice!! Thanks very much to all of you!! I suspect where this is a completely sold out cruise that this could also be a sh!t show on disembarkation day!!
