credit card

Sailing on Princes around New Zealand. On board costa are in Australian dollars and we use a Canadian credit card. Does Prices add an additional conversion fee in addition to the banks when converting from Australian to Canadian?

Like most cruise lines, Princess uses dynamic currency conversion when converting from the onboard currency to another. Typically the exchange rate will be around 3 cents worse off than the actual exchange rate at the time. It's usually best to let your credit card company do the conversion.

We were charged the 1.1% fee for using a credit card on our last Princess cruise, in March.
