does the social chat package still exist?

Hi, 

 

I was on the NCL Getaway November 2017 and going on the exact same ship this November. 

 

I was able to purchase a "Social Chat" package for $35 pp. It had to be purchased one day 1. It gives VERY limited access to the internet. It includes Whatsapp and a few other chat programs (I think iMessage works). Does this still exist? 

I see something similar "Unlimited Social Media Wi-Fi" for $12.50pp. But it's significantly more expensive.

Edit: The service was called Unlimited Chat. 

 

Includes social chat services: facebook, or skype messengers, whatsapp.

 

It was $5.00 per day, but you had to sign up on day 1.

My options are:

250 minutes for $105 (I think I get 30 minutes extra for Latitudes)

Unlimited Social Media Wifi $175

Unlimited Wifi $294

Unlimited Wifi Premium $357

 

I haven't seen the social chat package but maybe it's only available on board?

My Breakaway 7-day sailing in November lists a social media unlimited package for $87.50.  A lot higher than $5/day.

My numbers are for a 14 day cruise.  Apologies for leaving that out.

On the Escape last year, they also had the $5/day package.  If that went from $35 to $85 that's quite a hike.  (Although I did think that it was underpriced at the time.)
