I would like to hear from those who purchased air thru Ama. Does it include transfers? Were you able to give your preference as to specific flights? Were you able to purchase Business Class flights?  Thanks!

I purchased my air (RT LAX to Amsterdam) through AMA. They did ask if I had preferred airlines (usually those where you have a frequent flyer account). I wanted to go on Delta, and had a code-sharing flight with KLM (Delta partner). This includes your transfer by bus from/to the airport to the ship. Was offered an option for upgrading to business or first class, which I declined.

I's also be interested in knowing these answers...particularly if the air is offered for "free", as AMA is currently running a special. 

 

I have read the terms and conditions for free airfare.  Transfers are included, so I feel sure they would be included when purchasing your air through AMA.  On the other hand, preferences for specific flights and times, on free flights, are not allowed.  I believe that you can pay extra for specifications when purchasing flights.  :)  Free airfare is in an Economy seat.  We would like to know if we can upgrade those seats with airline points, or cash.  Anyone know?
