Tips for Suite guests

Is it true that Suite Guests are supposed to tip their room steward more than a cabin tip? Thought I saw it somewhere, but haven't seen anything for many months. IF you've stayed in a Suite please let me know. (I don't want the steward to think I'm cheap) Any difference for dining room staff?

Has anyone stayed in a Royal Family Suite? Anyone have any pictures. We're staying in a RFS this march and I don't seem to be able to get much info. Any would be appreciiated.

Yes, suite passengers should tip the cabin steward more (but not the waitstaff). The theory is that he/she has more work to do in a suite, partly just because it's a larger room so he/she deserves more of a tip.

Didn't know you had two of these threads going. I posted this on the other one too.

Yes. In a suite you are supposed to tip more money.

Stateroom attendant:$3.50 USDa day per guest

Dining Room Waiter:$3.50 USDa day per guest

Assistant Waiter:$2.00 USDa day per guest

Headwaiter:$.75 USDa day per guestNote:

These gratuities apply to guests of all ages.

Gratuities for other service personnel are at your discretion.

A 15% gratuity will automatically be added to your bar bill or wine check when you are served.

Envelopes for gratuities will be provided in your stateroom on the last night of the cruise. Gratuities may be paid in the following ways:

It's always a good idea to point out that these two are "either / or" not both! Some folks get confused and think you have to do both if you are in a suite.
