We are planning a RCI cruise out of Baltimore in May. Looking for a package for night before hotel,  parking for the cruise (5 days), and shuttle to/from the port.

We will be comming from  VA so hotels S of the port and easily accessable from the Balt-Wash parkway would be best.

Any recommendatopns??.

While not the nicest hotel we've ever used, we always stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center at 5625 O'Donnell Street, Baltimore, MD  21224 (410) 633-9500.

I cannot find the record of how much we paid for our last trip (sorry) but the stay and sail package (it probably has a different name...I cannot remember what the package if officially called) gives you one night in a standard room, shuttle to and from the port, complimentary breakfast on sail day and parking for your entire trip.

It's very close to Fell's Point and we always make a day of it by going to eat at an oyster bar at Fell's Point.

The shuttle that they use (KD Elite) is the best shuttle service we've ever used.  They have very nice Mercedes buses and they are prompt and reliable.  Every time we've ever used them, their van has been waiting right outside the terminal, ready to take us back to the hotel to get our car.

The hotel is definitely older but it's more than adequate for a single night's stay and their parking lot is enormous so parking is never a problem.  We've tried other hotel packages (we are Marriott regulars) but nothing can compare to the convenience, cost and location of this Best Western.  We have always ended back at this property !

Best Western is north of the cruise port.  Since coming from Vs you would have to ride past the  port.

There are several hotels in the BWI  airport district that would suite your needs. Many of the hotels are less than a mile off the BWI  parkway.

You can also try Trinity Reservations ,have used them before and they had some good prices.

Also have you considered driving up the day of cruise and park at the port ?

Port parking is $15 a day Then you won't have to deal with shuttles  just put luggage in the car and head home.

Thank you RF and Tony for your recommendations.

I checked with the Best Western. Their all in cruise package plus taxes/fees and 2x tunnel toll would be almost $200.

We are leaning toward taking Tony's recommendation and driving up on departure day and parking at the port.

Again- thanks!

If you do decide on staying the night before, BW in Elkridge has a park/cruise package and is closer to the airport.  Jamman54 (I think that's the right screen name) has several lengthy Pride reviews on the Carnival boards and has good pictures of that property.

I agree that O'Donnell Street is functional but not the nicest (or even probably the "middle-upper"est). KD Elite does do a great job though with the driving.  We stayed there for our February cruise but drove ourselves for our September cruise.  It was worth the peace of mind for potential winter weather to drive the day before.  KD Elite got us to the terminal much quicker than we did (parking was very jammed up), but it was nice to go straight home vs. waiting to go back to the hotel.
