Terminal 26 to be the Nieuw Statendam’s home at Port Everglades

It looks like Pier 26 will be the new home for the NS.

26 is the primary pier for all HAL ships. Only when there are more than one HAL ship in port will they use 21, 19, 25, or 29.

Celebrity Edge will use Pier 25.

Terminal 26 is a very guest friendly terminal in my experience.  And, if you drive and leave your car at the Mid-Port Parking Garage, it is very easy to access after a cruise.  Terminals 19 and 21 are OK as well, but I like 26 much better.  For 29, if you drive and park your car at the port, one must use the shuttle to/from the garage.  The terminal itself was satisfactory when I last was there, but 26 is still my preferred place for embarking or disembarking.

We have been to all the mentioned piers for HAL ships.

 

A lot depends on how many HAL ships are in port.

 

We even departed from pier 4 a couple of times.
