Tolls -Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area

I will have a car for one day pre-cruise. Will be picking up at FLL after my early morning flight and returning it at 8 pm that same day. The plan is to use the car to go to the hotel at Oakwood Plaza, the Harbordale shops, dinner and shopping on Las Olas blvd and then returning the car to FLL in the evening. Based on this info, can anyone who has experience with Florida tolls let me know if I have to buy some sort of toll plan from the car rental company or if I can get by without? Usually, we're going into Miami or Sunrise if we have a car, but this time will only be in the above mentioned places. Any advice from those who know the area well would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I believe the shopping center is in Hollywood.  From the airport, you can take 595 West to 95 South.  No tolls on these roads.

Pretty much toll-free. There’s not even much reason to get on 95.

 

(and good ice cream at Jaxson’s on Federal Highway (US1)).
