Cruise leaves at 9pm?

FYI - Magic's new home port is Fort Lauderdale, FL (it was repositioning from Miami I think) so hence the late departure time for us (9pm). Our original check in time was from 4:00-4:30, but we arrived around 2:00pm and were on the ship by 3:00pm. Fastest boarding I have EVER experienced with Carnival. It was awesome. They scanned and checked everything so quick, it was unbelievable. Plus, the ship was empty for a looooong time. I guess with everyone having a later boarding, tons of guests didn't come early. My boyfriend and I were questioning how many people would be on this ship because it really didn't start to get crowded until 6pm!

Who would want a refund because a cruise departs late? LOL! More time in Florida for me!

That is exactly what i was thinking ... as long as I am able to get on the ship at a decent time I am good for what ever time we leave
