Coffee in Old San Jaun

We will be in San Juan in Feb. from ~7:30 am - 1:30 pm.  Does anyone have a suggestion of a restaurant or cafe where I can get a specialty coffe drink in the Old San Juan area?  I was there ~8 years and remember having a delicious coffee made at a restaurant with a really old coffee making machine.

There are two we visited:  Chocobar coffee was very good (yummy chocolates as well). The other one which we found delightful was Cafe Cuatro Sombras.

Its been a while but i had one right by Plaza colon. When walking up from the pier its on the top left side.  Sorry i do not remember the name

I believe the place is Caficultura.  When someone says PR coffee, that’s the first place I think of, right after saying “yummmm”.  Be aware that if you want to take home a bag of their coffee, it’s well over $20. There are stores nearby which sell some of PR’s best coffees at a better price.  Not grocery store prices, but not as $$$$ as the restaurant. I always bring several bags of PR coffee home with me.

What you had was not a specialty coffee, it was cafe con leche (coffee + hot milk), which is how coffee is very much drunk in Puerto Rico. Either La Bombenera or Mallorca have the super old machines you remember.
