Ocean View Balcony Guarantee

What's been your experience with Ocean View Balcony Guarantee, specifically on Harmony if possible?  When do you know your room assignment?  Can you change your room once assigned (bed placement is important)?

You can change to any cabin in the exact same category.

 

could be assigned within.hours of booking or hours until you sail.  No way to predict.

Assignment can be anytime up to the day you board the ship. 

 

For US/Canadian based bookings, they normally let you change to any available stateroom in the same exact category to which you have been assigned.

The ability to change assumes that there is an open cabin.  The way cruise ships are booking these days there is a high likelihood that another cabin will not be an open.

How do you determine bed placement on Junior Suites?  They don't seem to follow the every other room patter like a regular room.

They are all the same, bed by the bathroom.

Like Bob said the chances of getting upgraded to a JS are slim...actually probably less than that now that they have the Royal Up program in place.
