The Andaz is just a year old and fabulous. Beats the Swisshotel by far!
 
You can’t walk to the port from any hotel. Take a taxi, very inexpensive in Singapore.
 
Another option is the MRT. The Andaz has a private entrance to the Bugis MRT station. 
 
You can also take an MRT to the airport. Uber is also an option for around 20 USD.

Thanks! I know it is a beautiful hotel with a unique room configuration. Since we only have 2 days, I am wanting to be close to the action! But one of those days will be going to the Botanic Gardens and definitely won’t be able to walk there from anywhere. So a nice mid-day pool break is probably a good thing!
