On my wife and mine it says "choice" after gold, our c & a status.  On my parents it does not have it and they are same status as us, they are even closer to next level than we are.  Any idea what this means?

"Choice" is your status in the casino.

Ok so what does Choice in the casino get you?

If you play in the casino, your next cruise, depending upon when it is, will show Choice.  If you don't play in the casino it doesn't have that distinction.  

 

 

Although I have played in the casino on my last two cruises, which were within the last year, I am still choice.  I never earned more than 1000 points total, so still not worth anything.  I shouldn't say that though because on my June cruise I ended up with a certificate for $200 off a cruise and in January I earned $100 off on a cruise.  Each cruise had to be booked within 30 days of the date on the certificate.

 

I did book another cruise within a week of returning home, but because this last one was a group rate, I couldn't apply the certificate and they won't extend the date on the certificate either.
