Izumi lunch on Grandeur

Recommended Posts

I am considering the Ultimate dining package for my upcoming 12 day cruise.  I am interested in how the lunches work on Grandeur.  What specialties are open?  If Izumi is open is it a la carte?  With the dining package could I get something to go if I didn't want to eat in the specialty that evening?

there is really no such thing as 'to go' on board.    dessert may be wrapped up for you, but as a general rule if you want to use the package you have to sit down to eat.  even if you were to get it, all it would be is a plate with the same covers that the MDR uses.    would not want to schlep 2 or more plates plus silverware  back to the cabin in any event.

I honestly don't remember if Izumi serves lunch .. they hold the sushi making classes on sea days, which leads me to take a SWAG and say no lunch opportunities.  best you could hope for is maybe a bento box of sushi.
